Carta vs. caffè (Blog hop)

Ciao!

Nel post di oggi voglio parlarti di due delle mie passioni più grandi: la carta e il caffè, due cose così diverse, che ne progetto di oggi si uniscono per uscirne ancora più belle!

Infatti, nella nuova release di Colorado Craft Company c’è un timbro, il Coffee House (con le sue fustelle), disegnato da Anita Jeram, che ha come tema il caffè, uno dei vizi da cui penso di non potermi disintossicare. Il profumo, il colore, la schiumetta, il sapore (rigorosamente amaro!), magari con un goccio di latte, ebbene il caffè per me è una coccola, è un modo per dire “ti voglio bene”, un booster, una consolazione, questo e molto altro. Sappi che se mi inviti per un caffè non ti dirò mai di no 🙂

Dall’altro lato c’è la carta: liscia, ruvida, satinata, porosa, profumata, spessa, sottiliiiissima, colorata, ma anche bianca, uno dei materiali che prediligo per i miei progetti, per la sua natura così versatile; può essere rustica, ma elegante, classica, ma anche pop, bellissima, o troppo commerciale; non mi stancherò mai di ricercare nuove carte e di stupirmi tutte le volte che ne trovo una bellissima. Ed è il caso della carta che forma la base della mia card: una carta preziosa che nasce dagli stessi ingredienti di una birra, con l’aggiunta di cellulosa: malto, il luppolo e il lievito!

Non è pazzesco che una carta possa essere fatta con questi ingredienti? Ti lascio immaginare il profumo intenso, erbaceo e a tratti pungente che ha. Aspettava solo di essere utilizzata! Penso che potrei stare ore ad ammirare le carte e tutte le volte scoprirne un aspetto, una tonalità, un profumo diversi..

  1. Oh my goodness you do love your coffee, and I think this mouse might just be your spirit animal, tee hee. Really nice card, gosh I love the suprise colors on Kraft! I’m loving the hedges and pups, tied favs. I dont think I will ever tire of Ms. Anita.

  3. Neutrals are my favorite! The images are clean and adorable. Mice actually tried to eat my Keurig cups that I stored in the garage this past winter…sigh.

  27. I totally agree with you… my day always starts with the fragrant smell of good coffee!! I love all the new sets, but, the Coffee House really tickles my fancy! Also adore the Hedgehogs too. I have lots of postal employees in my family and I am always looking for way to tell them I love them. Snail mail forever…. Wonderful job and TFS

  31. The coloring of the images is fantastic, especially using white highlights. The coloring combined with the colored card stock that you used really work well together resulting in the images really popping. Very eye-catching!!!

  36. Hai un modo così bello con le parole. La tua descrizione del tuo amore per il caffè e la carta è molto poetica. Immagino che leggere e scrivere siano altri due tuoi amori. Il mio set di francobolli preferito è Home Sweet Home, ma ho così tanti nella mia vita che amano il caffè che sono sicuro che acquisterò anche Coffee House. Ho usato Google per scrivere questo in italiano.

  48. Buon giorno – Love this! I wish I could read all the Italian and understand it well, but I can only get certain lines (I speak French and Spanish, so I can glean some understanding). Your CAS card is terrific and I love the way you discuss paper… I am practically a hoarder but I like the designs on the paper more than the paper itself, I think. Still, we have a common love.
    Your card is fantastic and these stamps are precious. Thank you for sharing your talents!
